Garden Transformation

After harvesting a giant cabbage today, I realized it was well overdue to put together a "before" and "after" report about our garden. We've both labored long and hard over the tranformation of our back yard from rectangle of lumpy grass to a productive vegetable, herb, and flower garden.

We started by making a lawnsagna  last November, and the steps along the way have been equal parts frustrating, dirty, exciting, dirty, and, ultimately, extremely rewarding.

A big HIGH FIVE to Jeff for the tremendous amount of digging, rubble removal, and building of the raised beds.
